Chapter Investment Fund Grants

Once the balance of a Chapter Investment Fund reaches $10,000 or more, the Pi Kappa Phi Foundation will make grants out of the fund at the request of the chapters alumni and volunteer leadership. 

The spending allowance for each year is calculated by taking 5% of that fund's December 31 balance from the previous year.  So, if the fund has a balance of $25,000 on Dec. 31, 2010, then up to $1,250 in qualified educational grants can be made from the fund each year.
