Redefining the New Member Experience
Over
the past year, Pi Kappa Phi has been working feverously to develop a groundbreaking new member
education program for our chapters. Grounded in the values of our Ritual
and Creed, the new program provides a six-to-eight week foundation to develop
and shape new members with a grounded, yet unique, educational experience supplemented
by The White Diamond new member
education manual.
Pi
Kappa Phi is currently piloting the new program with a diverse group of
chapters across the United States. Incorporating student feedback and
suggestions will help to create a holistic, relevant program that is applicable
any chapter, regardless of size and culture. Through suggested activities, a customizable
syllabus and an intuitive facilitator guide, new member education committees
will guide and prepare associate members to excel as engaged initiates.
