Parents' Club
“As the parent of a member of Pi Kappa Phi, I enjoy being
involved. I have attended several Parent Guild meetings, enjoyed the annual
Parent Auctions, supported the house financially and helped decorate the house
at Christmas time. Being involved gives me a chance to give back to the
fraternity in some way a token of my appreciation for what the fraternity
has given to my son.“
- Elaine
Oimoen, parent of a Pi Kapp
Several
Pi Kappa Phi chapters have active Parents Clubs. This is a great way to get involved in your
son’s fraternity experience in a positive and meaningful way.
Parents
clubs will do things like:
-Hold
annual ‘Mom’s Weekends’ or ‘Dad’s Days’ to give parents an opportunity to
interact with the fraternity
-Help
encourage parent participation in events such as Homecoming tailgates or
philanthropy events
-Help
lead beautification efforts for the fraternity house
-much,
much more
Ask
your son if his chapter has an active Parent’s Club. If it does not, we’d love to help you start
one!
