The Star & Lamp Magazine
The Star & Lamp is the award-winning magazine of Pi Kappa Phi. First published in the fall of 1909, it was originally called The Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity Journal. In 1911 the name was changed to the Star & Lamp and has remained so ever since.
As the official publication of the fraternity, the Star & Lamp serves as a forum of communication
to educate, inspire, and move to action members on fraternity,
Greek, and men’s issues. It is intended to create, sustain, and rekindle loyalty and interest
in lifelong brotherhood through celebrating our members, recognizing and acknowledging individual
and chapter accomplishments, and promoting
ownership of the initiatives of the second century vision. In addition, the Star & Lamp serves as a permanent record and archive, documenting the
life of the fraternity.
The Star & Lamp archives are housed at the National Headquarters. To request an archived issues, contact us at star&lamp@pikapp.org.
