Supreme Chapter
Every two years, the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity hosts a
national convention for the purpose of exercising supreme legislative power.
All chapters are temporarily dissolved to form the Supreme Chapter. During the
convention,
Each student chapter sends delegates to the Supreme Chapter
that casts votes for all the members of that chapter. Alumni are encouraged to
attend Supreme Chapter as well to vote on the future direction of the
fraternity.
During the convention, new legislation is proposed, national
officers are elected and members are recognized through resolutions and awards.
In addition to the official business, the Supreme Chapter is
a time where all Pi Kappa Phis can come together to celebrate the successes of the
greater organization.
The Next Supreme Chapter
The 53rd Supreme Chapter will be in Washington, D.C., from August 2 - 5, 2012.
