National Volunteer Week was established in the United States by President Richard Nixon in 1974. Each year, a new proclamation is issued by the President recognizing the substantial contributions volunteers make around the country, an idea that George HW Bush called: “an idea that is simply right.”
Pi Kappa Phi and The Ability Experience are fortunate to have over 1,300 volunteers who play a major part in the success of the organizations. These volunteers enhance the fraternity experience and provide consistent support of Pi Kappa Phi’s students and alumni.
This year, National Volunteer Week occurs from April 24-28. Pi Kappa Phi and The Ability Experience will be spotlighting a number of our volunteers throughout the week on our social media platforms. If you know an exceptional volunteer, please thank them on behalf of the greater fraternity, and also send us an email about how they make an impact on you or your chapter.
If you, or someone you know, would like to volunteer with Pi Kappa Phi or The Ability Experience, please fill out a Volunteer Interest Form or email email@example.com.On behalf of the students, alumni and staff of Pi Kappa Phi and The Ability Experience, thank you!
